Tattoo Preparation
Here is some information for the preparation of your session:
Feel free to ask/tell me anything I may need to be aware of during the session (eg. prefer quiet a session, body pains that may prevent you from staying in a position too long, nervous, first time, etc.).
Please avoid tanning (if the area to be tattooed is affected by a tan, it can cause additional pain and inconveniences) and avoid alcohol/drugs before your appointment (at least 1 day before, 2+ preferred).
If you at all feel sick, please let me know and we will reschedule. Let me know asap so I can make adjustments to my schedule accordingly.
Get a good night's rest the night before.
Shower and take care of your hygiene. Sessions can be long and physically demanding (which may make you sweat and perspire).
Wear appropriate clothing. Preferably nothing white or anything you wouldn't want to get stained as there is always the risk of ink splashing/dripping and getting on it. Keep in mind the area needs to be fully exposed. I suggest bringing a towel to have handy for extra coverage/warmth.
Eat a big meal before you come and stay hydrated. It helps with the pain and gives you the energy you need throughout the session.
Bring any drinks, snacks, and food you'd like which you can have during breaks. Alternatively, you can also run out and grab food nearby.
Feel free to bring things to keep you busy such as books and/or headphones.
Doors are locked so please call the shop when you arrive and someone will let you in (403 454-9930).
Please only bring yourself and do not bring/invite guests or visitors. This is to limit the amount of people in the studio due as we just don't have the space to accommodate everyone.
We only accept cash or E-transfer so please be prepared for the payment.
